Success Stories

Meet Our Team

Sarah Nicol, Lisenced Massage Therapist

I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2001.  After graduating from Central Ohio School of Massage, I began my career practicing Swedish and Deep Tissue massage. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to participate in many continuing education classes. I have over 20 years of experience in the industry.

Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to work with many wonderful clients.  I have found that I have the most success with clients who are committed to incorporating regular massage into their lifestyle.  I have helped people with everything ranging from headaches, fibromyalgia, seasonal affective disorder, and everything in between.  I truly enjoy getting to know my clients on a deeper level than just their physical complaints.  I create a friendly, comfortable environment in my room where you can heal.  After we get your original complaint addressed with a few sessions booked close together, we typically move to appointments booked once a month.  The regular massage is to ensure we stay on top of any complaint you may have.

I have lived in the central Ohio area since 2000.  I have been married to my husband since 2007 and together we have two young boys.  We enjoy spending time together on our boat, watching Ohio State football, and getting together with friends. I have experience working with chiropractors, athletic trainers and families.  Whether you have a specific complaint or just need to relax, I am able to tailor a massage just for you!

Jacqulyne Paull, Director of Marketing & Care Advocate

Working for Proactive Health & Wellness is truly one of my favorite things ever and it's something I never imagined I'd be doing. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Nutirtion + minor in Psychology from Washington State University and planned on working in a pediatric hospital. It only took a few months of working in traditional healthcare that I became frustrated that everything I was doing was to treat disease instead of prevent it.

I eventually found myself in Columbus, Ohio. I was recommended Proactive Health & Wellness when I was 24 weeks pregnant with my first baby. Care helped reduce my rib pain, and have a very uneventful first and second pregnancy. Both my kiddos have been adjusted by our Doc Team since they were a few days old as just a normal part of our family wellness. I was so in love with results our family had, that when the opportunity came up to help other families in our community find pediatric chiropractic care, I couldn't wait to join the team. Being a part of Proactive feels like being a part of a movement. A movement where people empower each other, support each other, root for each other and it’s something we want to share with our whole community! Chiropractic isn’t just a thing to me, it’s a pivotal part of my life and my family’s life.

I work in office for a few hours each week, but spend most of my week working from home in the wee hours of the morning before my two kiddos wake up. I feel so grateful to raise my family in the chiropractic world, and to be able to hug other parents in the office whose lives have been changed by chiropractic and they love it just as much as I do! When I’m not spending my time as mom to my two little ones, you might catch me doing some sort of interior design or renovation project, or aimlessly wandering through Target for some quiet time.

Hannah Wills, Care Advocate / Scanning Technician / New Patient Coordinator

I grew up in a big family where I am the oldest of 4 children. Naturally I became drawn to younger kids and developed a passion for caring for families. I was a nanny for 6 years before I decided to start working in the medical field. I recently started my own family with my husband Cody, in which we have our sweet rainbow baby Norah and our two fur babies Baxter and Lyla. If I’m not Netflix and chilling, you’ll most likely find me in the home decor section of Target. I first discovered Proactive Health & Wellness through another mama who encouraged me to try chiropractic care during my pregnancy with Norah. When I learn it could potentially decrease labor time and reduce the need for interventions, I immediately booked my first appointment! After receiving nothing short of amazing care throughout my pregnancy, postpartum and infant care, I came across the opportunity to become a part of the Proactive family and I knew it was meant to be!

Emily Flesch, Care Advocate / Holistic Nutrition Consultant

I started my holistic health journey in 2017 when I became a certified Natural Health Specialist, gaining a deeper knowledge of the holistic side of Nutrition. After receiving my certification, I decided to further my knowledge and study orthomolecular nutrition for 3 years to receive my diploma in Holistic Nutrition. I've been working in the Holistic Health field on and off for the last 5 years. My passion for holistic nutrition lead me to my position here at Proactive!! As someone who has dealt with her own difficult journey in wellness, I have a passion for teaching women how to feel their best and optimize their health. I love connecting with new people and there really is nothing more rewarding in life than when a client tells me they are seeing improvements in their health and overall wellbeing.
In my personal life,  I enjoy photography, exploring new hiking trails, going to the movies, card games, family time, and snuggling with my four fur babies!

Savannah York, Care Advocate

I was born in Michigan (BUT go Bucks!) and have resided in the wonderful Westerville, Ohio for the last 22 years! I am currently working towards my bachelor’s degree majoring in psychology and plan on continuing my education to receive a master’s degree in Social Work with a focus on children and young adult therapy while being here at Proactive.

My home life involves a cool Fiancé Jacob and our two cat babies, Sooty and Sissy that I would do just about anything for. I enjoy playing video games, binge watching good tv shows, and trying out new restaurants. You can find me writing hilarious chiropractic jokes on the whiteboard in room 2, holding babies in the office or checking you in for your appointment.

I have always had a passion for working with children and came across a job listing for a chiropractic office receptionist that had a focus on pediatrics and I was ecstatic when I was able to join this wonderful team of caring individuals. I was clueless when I started about all the benefits of chiropractic care but over the last year and a half, I find myself always recommending it to friends, family members, and even strangers whenever they express a certain health concern that I feel that would benefit from chiropractic care. I have had great results in lowering my headaches/migraines, maintaining good sleep quality, and the lessening of stress and anxiety issues!
